Chemical compositions:
Formaldehyde: 37 gr/100 ml; Methanol: 6-9 gr/100 ml.
Mechanism of Action:
Formaldehyde with the scientific name of methanol is a very powerful and wide range disinfectant that affects the structure and function of most bacteria, viruses, spores and fungi which this feature increases the antimicrobial effect of this product.
Indications and Usage:
This solution is used in livestock and poultry breeding industry for disinfection and sterilization of all equipments, machinery, livestock and poultry breeding halls (before hatching) , for use in disinfection ponds, entrance to livestockfarms, poultry farms and disinfection of vehicles.
Method of Use :
-Smoke method with potassium permanganate : It is used to the disinfection of poultry breeding halls (before hatching), after complete discharge of manure, feather residues, carcasses and other contaminants from the hall. first, wash the hall with high-pressure hot water. Then disinfect and sterilize the hall by smoking with a combination of formalin and potassium permanganate (combination of 20 grams of potassium permanganate with 40 cc of commercial formalin 37% per cubic meter).
-Spray method:
For disinfection of surfaces, equipment, and storage environments, use this method to spray a 37% formalin disinfectant solution after dilution (first, mix 40 liters of 37% formalin disinfectant solution with 60 liters of water at a temperature between 40-35 degrees Celsius) and use it as a spray.
Attention:
- Do not use Formalin 37% solution directly in the presence of livestock or poultry.
- To dilute this solution in cold weather to spray on surfaces , use hot water with a temperature of 35 to 45 °C .
- The duration and amount of use should be determined by the prescription of the veterinarian.
How to neutralize Formaldehyde:
Water-soluble formaldehyde can be neutralized by using a concentrated solution of sodium hydrogen sulfite.
Precautions:
- People that are sensitive to Formalin should not use this solution.
- Use a mask, gloves, glasses and industrial garments when using.
- In case of contact with skin and eyes, wash the area with plenty of water and Go to medical centers immediately (show product label if possible)
Storage conditions:
Store in tightly closed containers in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight at a temperature of 15-35 ° C and protect from freezing.
