Chemical compositions:
Glutaraldehyde: 12gr/100ml, Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC): 4 gr/100, Phosphoric acid 0.8gr/100ml, Deionized water, Synergizing and Stabilizing substances .
Mechanism of Action:
1- Glutaraldehyde: The most important ingredient in this solution is glutaraldehyde which is effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, (as well as against common pathogens in livestock and poultry that causing diseases such as Flu, Bronchitis, Newcastle, Gumboro, colibacillosis , Foot-and-Mouth disease and etc.). By attacking the cell wall, Glutaraldehyde disrupts the normal function of microorganism (proteins coagulation) and eventually , it causes cell death. It also kills viruses by acting on nucleic acids.
2- Quaternary Ammonium Compounds: Destroys cell membrane proteins. It also has a positive electric charge which attached to surfaces with a negative electric charge, causing the coagulation of cellular proteins. Therefore, the quarts in this solution retain their disinfecting effect on the remaining surfaces for a long time.
3- Alcohol Ethoxylate: As a non-ionic surfactant, it increases the penetrating power of dilute solution in organic matterial and waste.
4- Phosphoric acid: It increases the solubility of the disinfectant solution in hard water with high sediment and salts . It also stabilizes the formulation in the disinfectant solution and it has no corrosive effect on surfaces.
Indications and Usage:
DSG 200 solution is considered as a strong and effective disinfectant for disinfecting livestock and poultry breeding salons, incubators, hatcheries, disinfection of eggshells , cages, all surfaces, poultry accessories and equipments (drinking and feeding and so on), maternity pens, cow barns, clinics and veterinary hospitals, all hospital equipments and supplies, vehicles (trucks carrying one-day-old chicken, chicken seed , livestock, manure , live chicken and so on) industrial cold storages , livestock and poultry abattoirs, industrial garments (uniform), boots, pavements and others. And it is also used as a disinfectant ponds at the entrances of farms and breeding halls.,
Attention:
- The containers and equipments that are directly related to the water and feed for livestock and poultry, such as (drinking, feeding, etc.) should be thoroughly washed with water after disinfection.
- For use in disinfection ponds, prepare a fresh solution every week.
Precautions:
- Avoid direct contact of the concentrated solution with the skin and eyes.
- People sensitive to glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds should avoid direct contact with this concentrated solution.
- Use glasses, masks, gloves, gowns and boots when preparing and diluting this solution , as well as when using it.
Storage conditions:
Store in tightly closed containers, in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, at a temperature of less than 30 °C and protect from freezing.
