Chemical compounds:
Benzalkonium chloride 20gr / 100ml, Deionized water, Synergizing and Stabilizing substances.
Mechanism of action:
By affecting on the cell wall, the benzalkonium chloride 20% disinfectant solution , causes deposition of the cytoplasm and prevents the activity of some vital enzymes of microorganisms. The chlorine ion in this solution breaks the link between the DNA and RNA strands in the viruses and is also effective against viruses that cause Flu , Newcastle , Gumboro, Bronchitis, Colibacillosis and Foot-and-Mouth diseases. Benzalkonium chloride 20% has bactericidal effect even at low concentrations.
Indications and usage:
The benzalkonium chloride 20% solution is a powerful and effective disinfectant for disinfecting the poultry farms and livestock breeding grounds, hatcheries, disinfecting the eggshells, cages, all surfaces, poultry equipment and supplies (drinking, feeding and etc.), maternity pens, cow barns, clinics and veterinary hospitals, all hospital equipment and supplies, vehicles (trucks carrying one day-old chicks, grain, livestock, manure, live chickens and so on), industrial cold storages, livestock and poultry slaughterhouses, industrial garments, boots and pavements. It is also used for disinfecting the ponds at the entrances of farms, breeding halls and so on.
Attention:
- The diluted solution of benzalkonium chloride 20% can be used in closed containers for a week.
- The containers and equipments that are directly related to water and food for poultry and livestock (drinking, feeding, etc.) should be thoroughly washed with water after disinfection.
Precautions:
- The solution should be used in well-ventilated environments.
- When diluting and using this solution, use a suitable cover, mask, gloves and glasses.
- This solution should not be mixed with other chemicals and detergents.
