Chemical compositions:
Cetrimide: 37.5 g/100ml; Chlorohexidine gluconate: 7.5 g/100ml, Deionized water, Synergizing and Stabilizing substances.
Mechanism of Action:
Cetrimide disinfectant solution has a cationic propertiy similar to the 4-valent ammonium compounds which operates in two stages: In the first stage, it disolves the biofilms which keeps microorganisms on the surface and in the second stage, it destroys them. The cationic part of this solution which is attached to the anionic part of the cell wall of bacteria, viruses and fungi and enters the cell membrane and prevents cell growth through loosening the cellular components. Also Chlorohexidine gluconate is replaced with bacterial cell wall anions due to positive charges, replaces . which by disrupting the metabolism of the microorganisms , it destroys them.
Indications and Usage:
Cetrimide disinfectant solution is used for disinfecting wound, scratche, skin surface, skin abrasions, the outer surface of udder , Maintenance and breeding sites for livestock and poultry, maternity pens, cow barns, milking equipments and supplies, livestock and poultry abattoirs, industrial cold storages and etc .
Precautions:
- Avoid the contact of this solution with the animal’s water and food.
- Avoid reusing the empty gallons of solution.
- Avoid mixing the solution with other chemicals.
Attention:
- Contact time for disinfecting objects with this solution is 30 minutes.
- The diluted solution of Cetrimide can be used in closed containers for a week.
- The duration and amount of use is best determined by the prescription of the veterinarian.
Storage conditions :
Store in tightly closed containers, in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight at a temperature below 10-25 ° C and protect from freezing.
